He is not cutting it so far. Called a better game in the 2nd half, but he killed us against Florida and in the 1st half tonight.

Pruitt will let him go if he doesn’t put some offensive scores together.

It's gotten old quick. To even discuss this is ridiculous. None of these coaches are going anywhere after year one. It just reminds me of mob rule mentality. It's troublesome that people want to oust coaches from their jobs because they think they know what's best at a coaching position. If this was year 2 or 3 then maybe. This is an offense that didn't score a touchdown for over a month last year.

Agreed. I mean take Helton and Sherrer. Both are rookies at their perspective positions, but it seems that people expect them to be much better. Even though these coaches inherited a team that went 0-8 in SEC play last year. But they are supposed to magically make the worst team in the SEC last year into a much improved one in 5 freaking games? Its sad and embarrassing that some fans are this insane.

People who believe this whole process of continual hiring and firing works are just fooling themselves. Look at UK for an example. They are playing great football. It took Stoops 6 years. At some point, the fans are going to have to realize that a new HC, who has replaced an ENTIRE staff needs time.

Shut up dude! Breathe Vol and BO Train have already told us that we are reacting too quickly about this. Best for those of us who don’t know anything about football to retreat to a corner and let ONLY the experts like them put forth an opinion.

Well said. We have to get some consistency. Even when Jones started replacing coaches it got worse and worse for him.

So it was a complete overreaction by Saban when he basically replaced both of his coordinators after his first season?? Off of a staff that....oh by the way hung 40 points on a John Chavis defense and made a bowl game. Neither of which I see this team doing.

Ok so I am assuming you are talking about Sabans first year at Bama. Lets go with that. Answer me this and after your answer, I will address your points. Is there any similarity, whatsoever, between Saban in 2007 and Pruitt this year?

Back off. You don’t know who you’re talking to. Offensive football is something I know more than most on this board. Helton has been weak for us so far. Can he become a good one? Probably, but he put us in a bad position to win until the 2nd half of this game.

It did? So 5-7 and 7-6 under Bajakian with zero wins over UF/UGA is better than 9-4/ 9/4 under Debord with 3 total wins over UGA/ UF? I can respect the fact that people disagree with the opinion I put forth in the OP, but you’re an honest to God tard.

Jones didn't get rid of Bjak. Bjak left on his own and that was in his early days. Jones reached his apex in 2015. Then blamed Jancek for losses. Once the coaching changes started to mount then the lousy play and bad strength and conditioning started to show up.

Ohhh ok. So I guess it was our LONG TIME defensive coordinator who held Florida to one first down in the second half in the only win we’ve had against them in 14 years? And not a new guy that Butch had just brought in?

Here is another thing. You talk about hanging out on the recruiting board well you should know these coaches haven't even had one full year of recruiting. What does it look like if a struggling program starts firing coaches after their first year. It would look totally unstable.
