Wednesday 12-6-17 that Jeremy Pruitt has officially been offered the job. UT officials want him to assume total responsibilities immediately. Pruitt would prefer to split time between UT and Bama until Bama's playoff run ends. If this is indeed confirmed, please, please, please UT, don't let this stop this hire for God's sake.

Fulmer will only find a more disappointing hire.

He can’t.

That’s why it’s either bama or us. Pruitt is not Kirby Smart. And smart didn’t have to work as hard as people think, considering he had all of richts recruits already for year 1 and 2. I’m sure he recruited but I can almost guarantee it didn’t eclipse the playoff prep.

I agree, and think of the free pub we would get when their D makes a great play. "Future TN coach Pruitt's defense" is one of the reason AL is in the playoffs. Every 4* and 5* kid will be watching. That's marketing you can't buy.

Did it sicken you when doug dickey was coach or ad? He was a florida alum, and he even left Tennessee to coach at Florida. What about bill battle? Kirby did that when he took the Georgia job, he said that he was putting in 16 hour days and making quite a few recruiting calls at night.

My Uber driver has a friend that has a girlfriend that is the daughter of a man who’s father sells rhinestones to a woman that makes jumpsuits for Elvis.
Apparently Elvis, (and this is just hearsay so don’t shoot the messenger), has a source close to the coaching search that has said Mike Dubose is close to signing a UT deal. Freddie Kitchens is coming with him to be the QB coach.
