I believe Phillip will hire Kevin Steele as head coach, Tee will come back as OC and remainder of the staff may well have other former players involved. I think he even mentioned this in his remarks when he was introduced.

Just because a guy went to UT doesn't make him a good hire.

Steele sucks and we'd be back to this coaching search within three years if he's hired. The man would win 3 games next year.

Why hire a guy with a worse win loss record than the coach you just fired? If we are going the coordinator route, why not Venables or Tee?

I went to U.T., and I honestly think I'd do better than Steele. And I coach little league.

I don't necessarily disagree, but they'll be lucky to win 3 next season no matter who is coaching. Have you seen the schedule?
