...these are some of the problems I see:

1) Crompton
2) Why does every team outplay us in special teams?
3) Why do we continue to make the same stupid mistakes (Janzen Jackson missing tackles, corners letting ball carriers get outside of them), etc.?
4) Why on earth don't we run more? 28 passes and 12 rushes in the first half. Why?

1 and 4 are linked.

We cannot win in the SEC with Crompton never throwing it downfield. We could have won this game with 150 more rushing yards, but Kiffin wanted to use this to see if he could get some confidence for Crompton. Instead Crompton played like a complete disaster. He is unreal...SO TERRIBLE!

I have tried to support this guy and hope that he had changed from last year, I did not want a change in coaching to have to look at Crompton still bringing back the pathetic play of the past. Kiffin has got to see this crap and move on, he is a lost cause and no matter what he does to get the guy some confidence face it he is horrible and the team will start falling apart if the O does not pick up the slack sometimes.

Just like last year a decent running game until Foster quit on us and the team just fell apart. I do not thing I can watch the Auburn game, living here in Al. I can tolerate loosing to Al. because of there tradition but to loose to Auburn is down right embarrassing and if we cannot put points on the board against Ohio we will struggle again next week with that sorry excuse for a QB!

Someone can check the stats, but it would be interesting to know the average starting line of scrimmage for our opponent's kick-off returns this season. We may actually be better off just kicking the ball out of bounds every time... at least that way it eliminates the possibility of a run back. I know Cunningham isn't getting the ball deep, but the players aren't holding their lanes. Got to get better in this area.

I'm done with Crompton, he hasn't improved from last year and continues to be toxic for the team.

He SET THE BALL DOWN when all he had to do was step out of bounds or throw it away.... dude was lucky that the TD got called back.

I hope Kiffin is paying attention, he might be getting ready to lose some fans.

When Cunningham is gone or loses the job to Palardy, the kickoff coverage will be much better. The guy just isn't very good at kickoffs.

1) We are playing a lot of freshmen.
2) We beat a pretty good team when we did not play inspired (expected after the Florida game).
3) ex-CPF did not leave us a wealth of talent.

That will be alright. The fair weather fans will come back when Tenn. gets better.

I find it quite funny when a poster thinks He can tell Kiffin what to do.

Yeah I agree with you 100% brother, all these fans who don't know what CLK and Staff know from practices (and all that fun stuff that happens leading up to game day) think that they know whats best for the team! Its actually kinda comical to hear all these opinions from these "great football minds" LoL
Here is my synopsis of the Ohio game and why I think CLK allowed TENN to BEAT OHIO THROUGH THE AIR.CLK is confident in the defense and the running game. He knew that this game was by no means a game to overlook, but that it would be a great time to let JC , the O-line and the recievers work on their passing game before SEC play starts next week. CLK knew we could beat these guys on the ground and playing smashmouth football, and the second half that is exactly what we did, but the first half was a pass confidence builder!
