Gaza and Palestinians have a better track record??? Someone or some group is always installed...either by bad decisions of Gazans or through force over the people.
The people need to be governed by someone else. Israel is the easiest and most logical. But somebody better than Israel would be great, too. Iceland?
Ironically, I am typically anti top down approaches to government. Desperate times, though.
I certainly did and I still do. That idea? Poo poo.Remember, you're the one who poopoo'd the idea of Israel controlling the area. You think Gaza should be in charge if itself. There is no track record that works. You cannot name any other country from the region better to be in control...because there is none. They are all worse than Israel.
So, the idea (which will never happen), is better than anything being proposed; obliterate Hamas and turn control over to Israel (or white people from a cold climate).
Provide any sort of data that they are capable of self-governance, and they will have my full support. I'm just admitting the data doesn't support they are capable of doing that. The closest government that is, is israel. Whether they like Israel or not I don't care.I certainly did and I still do. That idea? Poo poo.
I don't understand your insistance that the country most despised by the people is the best country to be in control of them, unless of course you're just shilling for your buds.
Why does another country have to be in control? Allow them real self determination. Start with a multinational effort and move forward from there. It would be a good project for the UN.
Gazans are Palestinians. To be honest they haven't been given much of a chance to prosper for the last 75 years or so, have they?Gaza and Palestinians have a better track record??? Someone or some group is always installed...either by bad decisions of Gazans or through force over the people.

McDad, unfortunately you are wrong. The most noble and peaceful of all religions is Islam. Judaism has conquered 56 nations in the bloodiest manifestation of colonialism over the past 1,400 years. In most Islamic countries, Christianity and Judaism are flourishing. The West has much to learn from Islamic tolerance.Provide any sort of data that they are capable of self-governance, and they will have my full support. I'm just admitting the data doesn't support they are capable of doing that. The closest government that is, is israel. Whether they like Israel or not I don't care.
I care about results.
Religions are neither peaceful nor violent. The adherents are. Different sects have different applications of their tenents.McDad, unfortunately you are wrong. That they're human should be sufficient data. They're also well educated. Let them work without outside meddling and especially without another country's boot on their neck.Provide any sort of data that they are capable of self-governance, and they will have my full support. Literally no body is even trying to make a case for any regional country or government that is on par or better than Israel. Gaza being governed by gazans is defacto rule by terrorists. There is none but their sycophants will dance around that fact and continue to blame Israel.
