See that's the problem with America...we are too afraid to hurt someone's feelings. Which is more important?

Sparing someone's feelings or saving thousands of lives that could be lost due to a terrorist attack?

Just because terrorist attacks don't happen everyday doesn't make them less of a threat. 2,900 people died on 9/11 and if interrogating or detaining ONE person, who may be a terrorist ,can prevent another attack on the US...I'm all for it.

besides, these cowards are not uniformed combatants, therefore the rules of the geneva convention does not apply to them. If they are so willing to go to heaven to their 70 world of warcraft virgins, then by all means lets send them there after we get some information out of them. They are trying to kill innocent Americans, could be me, or my mom and dad, or my sister, niece (coming september 2010) or my 3 year old nephew. The only thing these people understand is brutal violence, this kum ba yah crap will not work with them, never will. I say bring back some inquisition methods, youd be suprised what the iron maiden will tell you...

I come from a family with 5 generations (at least) of men who served in the military for this country. One of which flew in B-17s during WWII.

That is one reason why, for me anyway, the state of this country is quite disheartening.

I would be willing to fight for the country (I'd be scared to death) but I would do it. Just as my father, grandfather, great-grandfather did for me and YOU. I get chill bumps when I hear our National Anthem, how about you? I don't think you quite understand the pride and love I feel for this country. And if they were to haul me in for questioning I wouldn't be jumping up and down about it but I would be more than happy to help and you know what? I'd be released because I HAVE NOTHING TO HIDE!

I do share your concern though.

One of my oldest and bestest friends flew 35 missions over Europe as a B-17 pilot.

Not many people understand that flying missions over Europe was the most dangerous mission of that our military servants faced, with the highest attrition rate bar none and I had an uncle who as a Marine who was in on most of our Island beach assaults in the South Pacific in which we suffered terrrible losses.

Interestingly my uncle who went through all that placed muslims at the top of the list as to the people he considered as the ones he most hated and considered the greatest threat to America.
