ISIS Takes Control of Mosul

maybe this is old news but I listened to a BBC radio report about how Turkey has/had been allowing ISIS free movement across their border into Syria specifically but likely Iraq as well, as recently as a month or two ago. maybe its been discussed and I missed it but thought I would pass it on. Also reported how Turkish hospitals had treated ISIS fighters wounded in the fighting.

Also Assad's air force have launched 122 airstrikes today alone, 84 of which were against IS targets.

Is this a good thing or a bad thing, Burhead?

Ras, can you get on the phone with Vlad and ask him to help out? Seems all he does is sit on his ass, while watching the world burn, and annexing other people's territories. Hell, you'd think he would get involved. Maybe Russia could annex Syria. It's practically Russia's already, since it helped create this mess, despite what you've read on RT.

Let me ask you then, is it a good or bad thing that Assad is attacking ISIS?

It's amazing to me that you allow Obama to call airstrikes in Northern Iraq to be "a humanitarian mission", yet Putin actually sends in humanitarian aid to The Ukraine with no weapons, but we allow him to call that an act of war in his recent red line speech. Simply amazing...

What do you think?

Because even though you didn't ask, I think ISIS is the largest threat to Middle Eastern security than has come along in a long time. More than Iran, a Ba'ath Party Iraq, Israel, Hamas, Hezbollah, et al.

And if Assad is hitting them, awesome.

You keep referring to it as "The Ukraine," Vlad. Stop. It's not yours anymore.

You seriously can't be denying that Russia is sending men and weapons across the border are you? How else would the rebels have such weapons?
