ISIS Takes Control of Mosul

All of Iraq's oil is exported through the south, and thus far there's been virtually no impact on those shipments.

But don't let facts get in the way of your Obama hate.

Sometimes the facts suck as bad as Obama does .....and thanks for the reminder though of the Obama hate who is so overwhelmed by what's going on & hasn't a clue of how to stop the bleeding there after 6 years of being a dumbass president of leading from behind or not even knowing how to be a leader. All this guy cares about is his golf game & fundraisers & millions of dollar vacations paid for by taxpayers.

Speaking of facts, tell the Kurds that all the oil is exported through the south.

Fed up with ME, time to bring out the atomic bombs again - it didnt bother anyone in the US when they were dropped on Japan in 1944 - why should anyone care about these loons and the constant ignorance they cause

No lol But of course the 10th grade would be considered "Ivy League" to folks from Arkansas.

Arkansas does have terrible HS grad rates according to the 2009 Census numbers .. but so does Tennessee.

Arkansas is 44th in the country.. Tennessee is 41st. So as long as we are making broad generalized statements about entire states and their residents, I would call the two populaces "Dumb and Dumber".

I'm afraid to look up Oklahoma...

Easy there sloppy.

You're really not comparing apples to Orange! TN has the burden of Memphis hanging around our neck, really drags down and drives up many of our stats. I've said for years, we should give Memphis to AR. Increasing the average IQ in both states.

Annex Memphis and bring in Bowling Green. Anyone second this?

Iraq's senior Shi'ite cleric calls for new Iraq government - Middle East Israel News | Haaretz

The spiritual leader of Iraq's Shi'ite majority called for a new, "effective" government Friday, increasing pressure on the country's prime minister as an offensive by Sunni militants rages on.

Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani's comments at Friday prayers contained thinly veiled criticism that Shi'ite Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, in office since 2006, was to blame for the nation's crisis over the blitz by the Al-Qaida-inspired Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.

According to an AP article this Sunday morning, Sunni militants have seized another town in Iraq's western Anbar province - the fourth to fall in two days. Officials report the militants captured Rutba which is 90 miles from the Jordanian border sometime late Saturday. This advance has dealt another blow to PM Nouri al-Maliki as militant forces are pushing the country toward a sectarian showdown. The taking of Rutba gives the insurgents control over the final stretch of a major highway to neighboring Jordan which is a key artery for goods & passengers.

Been busy in Syria, too.

Jihadists kill 270 in anti-regime raid on Syria gas field: NGO

Jihadists have killed 270 Syrian regime fighters, civilian security guards and staff since seizing a gas field in Homs province, most of whom were executed, a monitoring group said Saturday.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also reported that a woman accused of adultery was stoned to death by the Islamic State (IS) in the northern city of Raqa, in the second such case in as many days.

yeah I doubt Iraq likes us too much, an Iran is cooperating which is something. I am pretty sure Israel and Egypt still hate each other, maybe the whole slavery thing, or a couple wars fought semi-recently. I would say that whole chart just needs to read "its complicated" except for the extremists. (but who can tell the difference over there?)

The ridiculous music they play in some of these videos is about enough alone to make me despise Islamic jihadists.
