Is Wright the best RB in the SEC?

I’d say yes even though I don’t think he has the best stats. That’s due to sharing the load with Small and Sampson, but I’m good with it. It’s working, this is our most elite rushing attack since Lewis, Henry and Stephens.
Those 3 didn't play as much together as these guys.

He’s roughly 1400 yards away…with 18 regular season games left in his career.

He has 435 yards with 6 games left and he ran for 875 last year…. It’s possible

Those stats for this year don't include today's game either. So as 136 extra yards. Moot point though, I don't see him coming back next year regardless.

He’s damn good. How about freaking Cooper Mays returning our offensive line to form?
Cooper is an all star. Wright is too. Best in the SEC is a bit subjective. I mean, in fairness to JW, imagine how many yards he would have put up by now if Coop was in the entire season with Mincey and Lane where he is best. Still, we have yet to play anyone really good and already have an L to FL (because Coop and Mincey were out IMO). Still hard to call anyone on our team the best until they play the best—which we have yet to do.

He runs like he is but Sampson makes a point for himself whenever he gets a touch.
Sampson isn’t that consistent between the tackles getting short yards like Wright at this point. He’ll get there, but he’s not there yet.

At the very least, it's between him and Davis at Kentucky. Davis has a higher volume of carries, which matters, but our O-line has not been a strength this year either, so Wright's numbers have been impressive.

I don't know about that but standard of effort and energy he sets for the team should not be minimized.
