The guy was a partisan political commentator, not a President, religious or civil rights leader or someone else that really mattered to people across the board.Who cares if someone sees it as partisan. Having to constantly worry about people’s feelings is a big part of what’s wrong with this country. I’m a staunch conservative but would absolutely approve of a moment of silence or tribute to any on the left if the situation were similar. Nationally televised political assassinations are bigger than partisan politics.
I think you are way underestimating his importance as this is probably the biggest such event in half a century. Either way, I don't want to argue. I mainly wanted to see if anyone knew if there would be any type of tribute and it looks like no one knows - so probably not.Because it was nationally televised?
