So include the Minnesota Senator and her husband who were assassinated a couple months back? They should, left or right I want to see anyone who is assassinated like that honored.
I do but the circumstances are a bit different. They were killed by a mentally ill schizophrenic that was convinced he was doing a favor for Tim Walz.So include the Minnesota Senator and her husband who were assassinated a couple months back?
See no ties to UTK for either so maybe not do anything but pray we stop killing each other.
If you are sick enough to assassinate someone then I you likely have mental health issues as well.I do but the circumstances are a bit different. They were killed by a mentally ill schizophrenic that was convinced he was doing a favor for Tim Walz.
Charlie Kirk was assassinated by someone who hated him for his beliefs in front of a gigantic crowd of people and his family.
Both are tragedies but they aren’t quite comparable. The mental health of the perpetrator does make a difference, similar to the man who tried to kill Ronald Reagan.
You think haters aren't mentally ill? You may want to rethink that.I do but the circumstances are a bit different. They were killed by a mentally ill schizophrenic that was convinced he was doing a favor for Tim Walz.

I think there is a difference between being mentally ill to the point of not being completely legally culpable and being just a screwed up person. You think haters aren't mentally ill? You may want to rethink that.
To me they're comparable.

The Mental Health of Haters
Hate has a way of generalizing. It grows from hating one person to hating others who remind you of that person and eventually to groups of people who remind you of that person.www.psychologytoday.com
No, the guy who killed them was hard core Trumper and the attack was definitely motivated by his right wing beliefs. Where did you see he had schizophrenia?I do but the circumstances are a bit different. They were killed by a mentally ill schizophrenic that was convinced he was doing a favor for Tim Walz.

At this point, there’s no way to know his motives or political beliefs. A Guardian article quoted a friend as saying that Robinson was far left. The only issue is that this friend hasn’t seen him in years, so things could have changed since then. Also, so far there’s nothing to support the idea that he was a hardcore Trump supporter other than a tweet from David Shuster who apparently is the only journalist in the world who got that scoop. No, the guy who killed them was hard core Trumper and the attack was definitely motivated by his right wing beliefs. And that's a very partisan take. A tribute to him would be an inappropriate endorsement of his political views. It could also cause extra work for security from resultant kerfuffles..Kirk stands for what universities should be instead of what they’ve become. If they do a tribute fine, if they don’t fine. Nobody is comparing him to anyone in Minnesota that’s for sure.
