Most people are glad it's become a tobacco free campus because it's a much healthier environment as a result
I've never noticed much a difference. And if there was one it seemed more like the opposite of what you re describing. Given UTs product over the last decade they should be giving you free liqour when you come through the gate.Yep, i learned a long time ago to get the most expensive tickets i can afford. Goes for titans games too. The expereince is usually much better that way.
But i will say at the b.o.b. my son and i had a drunk couple sitting next to us. The apologized for getting up and leaving their seats so many times they actually bought my son and i tshirts.
Stupid policy was meant to benefit the students, you know that 99% of the unheard stakeholders in these discussions about the campus. Why can't we just get rid of them anyway? They add almost nothing to the fooball experience, other than tuition, players, support staff, a "student section..."
They might do mini packs but last season they offered 4 additional season tickets in south endzone in lowers and uppers with no donation to donors ... basically less of a hassle for them and donors will not be pissed someone didnt donate a dime but in same seats they are. I would say it is according how many tickets they will have left after donors get their picks. If they do mini packs itll be July probably before they come out.
From dictionary.com, bandwagon ...
2. a party, cause, movement, etc., that by its mass appeal or strength readily attracts many followers:
After it became apparent that the incumbent would win, everyone decided to jump on the bandwagon.
Thanks! Good luck to the Bruins as well... I think Kelly will do great there especially with all the talent in Cali.Hi Vols. You're not alone. Ticket sales are slow at UCLA too. These days, mediocre football will do that especially when most of the games are on tv and the cost of tickets/parking/hotdogs keeps going up. If it wasn't for tailgating at the RB, there would even be less.
I think things will get better under CCK but I'll believe it when I see it. Good luck to ya this season.
Is there not some designated area? Titans and Predators both have smoking areas. I assumed the Vols do as well. BTW, the state legislature passed a law to allow MTSU and Memphis U to sell alcohol at their games. If the SEC rules change, you can bet UTK will be next in line. It already gets wild enough with what's snuck in and the front loading at tailgates.Likely decided by actuarial tables. Decreased loss of revenue from ardent smokers is surpassed by increased life span of those more willing to attend tobacco-free event.

Triggered.....
When I was in college we smoked on campus, even in our seats up until 1989 or so. My friend passed out sitting in his seat and leaned into the fan in front, putting a cigarette hole in her rain jacket, which luckily didn't ignite. Those were fun days. As for my vice being next, I guess that would be sugar. I could use the motivation. My sugar consumption, however, does not introduce immediately harmful byproducts into the environment like second-hand smoke. Yes, second -hand smoke is harmful.
