I heard there's quite a few thousand left including lowers and prime lowers. Are they offering any deals to current donors? Will they do mini-packs?

Yes demand is once again low this year. So was last year. I'm sure they will offer season tix in the south endzone for face value to current donors. And yes I'd expect to see mini-packs this year.

Let's be honest here. Hoping for a 6-6/7-5 kinda year doesn't exactly get the orange blood pumping or orange money flowing. Probably will have come down on donations/ticket prices to encourage more folks to come.

Winning will fix that. Unfortunately its been a while since we did that.

Only good home games are FL, KY and Mizzou this year, the rest are chumps!!

And yes I know AL is home but I wouldn't call that a good game! Sorry.

Let me be clear however that I will attend EVERY game I can!!

I'd love to purchase some south end zone lowers for face, no doubt if I could I would. Mini packs this year isn't a bad idea either.

I’m not purchasing again until they show they’re serious about winning. I canceled after the schiano mess

Because it’s terrible how they have been serious about losing ? Come on . You just described yourself as the true definition of a band wagon fan . I don’t care if you buy a ticket or not but the whole “ they aren’t serious about winning thing “ is too much. Ive seen it on here several times but let the new coach come in a be serious with holding our hands and telling us everything he does and plans to do and we start in on him . Heaven forbid he’s so serious that he wants more fans at a spring game . We know what that will cause . 😂

Thats weird, according to OrangeDefense excitement is at an all time hire because we hired a top notch proven coach thay actually does not possess the ability to lose to any other sec coach.

Let me reiterate. I canceled after it was all but given we were hiring Schiano. A mediocre coach and a piece of garbage. So yes, at that time I’d say it was easy to assume they weren’t serious about winning. I’ve had season tickets for 7 years, through all the bad years. I’ll always love UT but I’m not spending my hard earned money on them until they start giving us good product in return. Understand?

Does the amount of money you are willing to spend determine whether you are a true fan or bandwagon fan?

No it has nothing to do with it at all ... saying I’ll do it when “they get serious about winning does “ . I’ll also throw in one of my favorites that’s very common I hear people say .. “ im not watching another game until they start winning “ I’m no expert on band wagon riders by no mean , but I think it falls into that catagory .

Edit : I don’t believe I said “ true fan “

Anyone heard how demand for Away Games was? Curious if they will be able to fulfil all the Auburn request...

I do understand . You bought them when we wasn’t serious about winning during the Orange pants and Butch years and now your in a holding pattern until we win . I’m actually , believe it or not , with you on the wait and see the body of work our new coaches and teams have before I sharpen the pitch fork and I just like going to the games .

Sure you did. You can't call someone bandwagon and then say but you may still be a true fan, I don't know. That's on par with your original stupid post.

It’s not unreasonable. Most folks don’t continue to buy products from brands or companies that continue to offer crappy items. Eventually the customers stop buying and force the business to offer better products or fail.

Vols fans are too loyal which is why UT can offer a mediocre product that gets gobbled up like Golden Corral. It’s not going to taste better anytime soon because “you ain’t a real fan if you don’t sport them vawls threw thick n thin”.

Jeremy says Hell yes! My recollection of last offseason was 7-5 was the pessimist view and most thought there was a reasonable path to nine or 10 wins. I had them at 4-8 last year, but I was consistently one game too pessimistic so I thought 5-7 was most likely. I didn't see a QB on the team and I was right. I'm thinking expectations are lower across the fan demographic this year. You have to be very focused on your enjoyment of live football to shell out in this situation.

And then there are those fans who go to all the home games and every away they can and have been doing it for three generations because, win or lose that's The University of Tenneessee Volunteer football team out on the field and they (for the most part) deserve our support.

Go You Volunteers!

If someone has purchased season tickets for several years and then decides not to spend several thousand on a continued trash product, i dont think that makes them a bandwagon fan. Ive never personally supported a boycott or anything, but i do support people doing what they want with their money. I personally have never spent less than 1500 (since i got married) attending a game a year and over the past few years, ive questioned if it was worth it or not. Doesnt mean i am not a real fan just that i prioritized the money and watching them lose lowers the priority of the money.

But yeah im with you on the never watching again, thats dumb.

I never said he was a true fan .. don’t put words where words aren’t . I was talking about the “ when they are serious about winning “ comment .
