I travel a lot for my job, mon-thur., I ran into Troop at the airport in Atlanta. He was really cool, we talked about the up comming season, and he even signed a recruiting poster for me. Troop is the man!

Troop's situation is really different than ever before. In all of his prior seasons, he has had the benefit of seasoned talent with lots of game experience, practice experience, and time within the system. This year, he has raw talent with almost no experience.

One big difference is that older players knew the ropes, but needed a little excitement, confidence, and motivation. Troop provides that like no other.

I hope that his supercharged coaching style can translate to these kids who, presumably, are already excited, confident and motivated.

I have faith in the man, but I've also got my fingers crossed for him.

IMO Trooper should have been named the recruiting coordinator instead of Adkins. He's really the star recruiter on the staff. Adkins has a full time job, handling the offensive line alone, that groups needs a lot of improvement.

Mike Hamilton needs to call Trooper in the office and ask him what he and his family need financially to be comfortable..............................................................and then add $1 to whatever Mr. Taylor says. His enthusiasm is sorely needed on this staff.

I was pretty sure Matt Luke was recruiting coordinator. Not Adkins. He replaced him when he joined the staff.
