I just purchased the new ESPN app on Roku, $29.99/month and can cancel at the end of the season. You can also check on YouTube, do a search for "ETSU vs Tennessee live"......I have watched several games this way. Sometimes the feed may go bad and have to find another one, but it's free.I show USF/UF on the SEC network and espn says it's on espn/sec+. Does this mean the only way to watch is being a ESPN+ subscriber?
I think I've got ESPN+ as part of our Hulu deal, but yeah go to YouTube and search for the game.I just purchased the new ESPN app on Roku, $29.99/month and can cancel at the end of the season. You can also check on YouTube, do a search for "ETSU vs Tennessee live"......I have watched several games this way. Sometimes the feed may go bad and have to find another one, but it's free.
USF/UF is on SECN so no you don't need to be a ESPN+ subscriber but you do need a service provider with SECN.I show USF/UF on the SEC network and espn says it's on espn/sec+. Does this mean the only way to watch is being a ESPN+ subscriber?
This is correct. Go to the game on the ESPN app and when you click on the game it will ask you to log in via your tv provider. I use YouTube TV and simply entered my credentials.I think if your TV subscription includes SECN, then you can watch SECN+ through the ESPN app with no additional charge. I'm on Youtube TV and have always been able to watch SECN+ basketball games.
see this is why ESPN sucks, their own website says that the game is on SECN+ which is included on youtubetv, but google says ESPN subscription required.USF/UF is on SECN so no you don't need to be a ESPN+ subscriber but you do need a service provider with SECN.
If you have SECN as part TV package you can watch the Vols on SEC+ using the ESPN app. No ESPN+ needed
I am not a subscriber but have the XFINITY sports package, have for years. Bottom line since that supplies me SEC NTWK I get SEC+ but not ESPN+ from ON DEMAND.I show USF/UF on the SEC network and espn says it's on espn/sec+. Does this mean the only way to watch is being a ESPN+ subscriber?
