see this is why ESPN sucks, their own website says that the game is on SECN+ which is included on youtubetv, but google says ESPN subscription required.USF/UF is on SECN so no you don't need to be a ESPN+ subscriber but you do need a service provider with SECN.
If you have SECN as part TV package you can watch the Vols on SEC+ using the ESPN app. No ESPN+ needed
I am not a subscriber but have the XFINITY sports package, have for years. Bottom line since that supplies me SEC NTWK I get SEC+ but not ESPN+ from ON DEMAND.I show USF/UF on the SEC network and espn says it's on espn/sec+. Does this mean the only way to watch is being a ESPN+ subscriber?
I know they've always had money games, but I hated when they went to 12 games. Like teams were going to schedule a good 12th game. I think they should only allow teams to play FCS competition that is in state. Why do they schedule these worthless games that mean nothing? So worthless in fact that it’s not even televised! What a waste. These games are pointless to everyone involved
Just added the sports extra. Went to sling to not pay the youtube tv/hulu prices, but that sports add on bumped my sling to $75!
How to watch the game today confusion (and explanation)I also have YouTube TV but can't get it to work
Great, thank you! There have been several threads about this already, but it's clear there is still some confusion. The game is not on TV, but it is provided via ESPN+ AND SECN+. ESPN+ you have to pay for directly or often through part of a Disney+/Hulu package.
Many of you/us likely don't need to pay extra though as we'll already get it through SECN+. If your TV/Cable provider gives you the SECN, you almost surely have access to this. YouTubeTV for example will allow you to watch the game for free. You have to select the correct broadcast though which I think is what's tripping some folks up.
Open the ESPN app on your smart TV. Find the game. There are 2 options for the stream. ESPN+ (don't choose this one). SECN+ (pick this one)! Sign in with your cable provider account info (i.e., youtube tv credentials). You should be set and you can try it now before the game. If it's asking you to log in with your disney account info, it's the wrong stream (unless this is what you're trying to do).
Here's the link to the SECN+ stream if you need to watch it online instead of a TV/mobile device that uses an app.

Go to sports bar or don’t bother watching the game until freak posted it later.
