The latest from Mike Griffith

<hr>He says that Crompton has had a tremendous week of practice. He looks for him to just go off this Saturday. He also says that not playing him more last year had really hurt his developement. He says that he actually earned the starting job last fall. Apparently Fulmer wanted him to be the starter last year, but Cutcliffe said no. Crompton is just now starting to recover from the dissapointment. He still says that UT will upset UGA or Bama. He says he wouldnt be totally shocked if UT wins both games. He also says UT will be the clear favorite in the SEC going into next season. Look for Fulmer to shake up the staff after this season. He is really tired of Dan Brooks and Larry Slade. Those 2 would have been gone years ago had it not been for Chavis. Chavis may be demoted to assistant DC. Look for Joe Kines to be on next years staff.

read this elsewhere and was wondering if he really said this

I think that 4 games would be plenty of time to clean his act up. I don't think he'll be getting much better

I'm not a big fan of Griff so I personally pay him no attention.

BS
Plenty QB's sit for 2 even 3 years with little or no playing time and perform much better,
Friggin Brent Schaffer never played a college game and looked 10 times better in his 1st start, and that was under RS/

News Flash: We're not beating Bama or Georgia. I even have my doubts about Northern Illinois at this point.

If Fulmer said this he is dumb. He is gonna be at the unemployment line the first Monday morning after the season is over. There is no way Crompton ever beat out Ainge. He can't even complete a screen pass.

actually it is true...i am very close with griff...but you are only telling half the story...

also look for tebow to leave florida, sit out a year, and transfer to TN. bill cowher, has shown interest in coaching TE's next year and has gotten the nod from Clawson to come on board, pete carroll, as we all know, wants to become UT's new water boy, and last but not least, crompton looks splendid right now...just effin' splendid.

Griff is UTAD and Crompton's waterboy, as well as a goon.

Anyone that thinks Crompton should have started over Ainge last year and anyone who thinks that Crompton is prepared to "go off" based on what they seen so far is on the goods for sure.
