Is this the worst beating

Good. I've never really been too high on Leach. I guess I'm a lot like you. When I first heard Kelly's name and where he was from, I wasn't too on board, but the more I've read about him, the more I've come to think he might be a pretty good fit.

I will have to agree, and I will have to admit I was wrong... WAYYY wrong. Brian Kelly installs discipline and acts passionate out there. He really gets his team fired up. Leach always seems to be in control, but he needs to yell at people when they screw up or get on to the refs. Kelly's system is incredible too! He preaches offense and defense! I am not sure where people are getting this idea his philosophy is a lot like Fulmers... Can anyone explain that?

Kelly runs a spread offense, where Fulmer's was conservative with run,run,run... And Cincy has a good D too.

Unfortunately you're right, and it seems my nightmare scenario of a situation where no matter what, one of those two is going to play for the NC. Hopefully either Aub. or FSU or both can pull off a miracle next weekend.

I dislike the gators and bama just as much as everyone else however we have gotten our asses handed to us this season. We aren't competitive and we just have to get over that. Not wanting an SEC team, even if they are our rival, to play and win the NC is just ridiculous. The better our conference looks the better we look and i'm tired of all this the big 12 is the power conference this year bull crap. The SEC is still the best and bama or florida are going to lay an absolute beat down on whoever comes out of the big 12 to play in the NC and i'll love every minute of it.

Leach or Kelly would be an improvement on what we have now. You want Nutt over Miles in a in a 1 game playoff?

kelly may be better than leach, i don't know. however, defining a coach's career after 1 beat down is stupid. name a coach that has never suffered a beat down. some on here would have wanted spurrier fired after the 95 fiesta bowl if they are consistent in how they think.

I disagree. For the most I want the SEC to look good, but UF and Bama are different. They hold a special place in my opinion, and as a Tennessee fan I can't bring myself to wish any good upon either of those teams. I'm not sure about Bama getting into the NC game anyway. I have a feeling they might be a little out of their league against OU. The win over UGA is their best win of the season, and each week the SEC West just looks weaker and weaker.

in case nobody has noticed, it looks more and more like notre dame will be in the market. if it came to a choice, where do you think a boston mick is going to go?

I totally agree. I can't bring myself to pull for either Florida or Alabama, and to a lesser extent Georgia and Auburn regardless of whether or not they are in the conference.

ND can't afford to get rid of Weiss unless old T. Boone coughs up the $20 million buyout - oops oh yeah T. Boone is Oklahoma State. Guess Weiss is staying at ND.

I thought TTech had a shot in this one, but I still don't think they are as bad as they looked last night. They did beat texas and they did beat OK state...and I guess the pundits were correct when they said noone knows Leach's O like Stoops. I'm not anti-Leach after 1 game, but it does bring to light how he would handle things in big games. The LSU, Florida and Bama defenses have as many atheletes on the field that OU does and Leach didn't seem to know what to do...or maybe it was Harrell. regardless, I don't know what to make of his 4th down attempts. Was it stupidity? Was it no faith in the D? Was is desparation? Prolly some of each.
