Is this Phil saying Pruitt will be back?

Fulmer did the best tapdancing routine this side of Jesco White to avoid making it look one way or another. He would have been better off not saying anything at all. I still firmly believe that two big losses and Pruitt is out at the end of the season. Maybe the ONE thing Tennessee has learned over these last three disasters is not to give the lame duck coach one season too many. It happened with Dooley and Jones. Don't make that same mistake 3 times.

I have zero doubt that he'll be back. The coaching threads are fun, but that's all they are right now unfortunately.
I'm sure after next year there will be another freeze type hot coach. I just wonder if freeze, who has won at multiple stops as a head coach, isnt the best candidate Tennessee could realistically hire in some time.
After next year will john doe the defensive coach for some team be the the best? Or some hot shot offensive coordinator?
I hate hires at big named schools of coordinators. Sure it has worked many places but I like to know the guy can run a ship before teams give them a big ship to run.

HB's mechanics are worse now than in high school. Watch his footwork and his release. Awful.
You sure? Tell us your expertise and what you have noticed.
I saw Bailey intuitively slide in the pocket to get away from pressure and also progress through his reads. I also saw him pass to the TE’s. I have not seen JG do any of those things in 3 years.

It's been 13 years since we've been a contender for the east, how much longer do we have to be patient?
Not just me, but the entire Vol Nation is waiting. I try to look at the glass half full but I’m really thinking about drinking the rest of it 🤣

It's cool. I'll just pick up a hobby I can enjoy on Saturday in place of watching UT football because I'm beyond tired of the constant losing and how much we pay yo lose. Thinking about picking up something like customizing sneakers. People love customs. P
I pretty much was awol for the Dooley years, seems like I came back 20 years to soon.

Automatic "like" for the Jesco reference!

CPF should have never been fired. Who fires a HOF coach who has won a National Title? There were a lot of stupid fans back then too. He earned the right to leave of his own choosing. We are still paying for that sin today.

Do you not remember how Phil got the job? Tennessee fired a Hall of Fame coach who had won a national title. Except Johnny Majors was fired mid-season, with a loaded roster, after going 34-9-2 with a Cotton when it was a top 4 bowl, Sugar and Fiesta Bowl, along with 2 SEC titles and two top 5 finishes in those 4 years. In Phil's last 4 years he was 29-21, had emptied the roster, had two losing seasons, lost to Vanderbilt, hadn't won a championship in a decade, and hadn't been to a major bowl in 9 years.

If the cliche "better than our record says we are" could be nuked and buried 1000 feet under ground that would be outstanding.

I'm hotter than all the women say I am.

I'm faster than the stop watch says I am.

I did better on the SAT than my score said I did.

Please. Phil. Buddy. Stfu

I'd argue we're worse than our record says we are. I don't think we'd beat Missouri if we were playing them Saturday and probably not South Carolina either.
