Is this one of our Best Defensive classes of late?

I'm wondering is this one of our best defensive class hauls of late.

D-Linemen: O'Brien, McCullers, T.Taylor, Sentimore

LBs: Santos, Peters, J.King, and Latroy Lewis(rush LB in 3-4 IMO)

DBs: McNeil(monster), Gray(most underrated prospect to me), Bonner(I think we'll get him), and Blanc( hope he's on defense at safety)

I don't remember a class of ours in the last five or six years that had a better overall group in terms of impact players(multiple good players on each level) on every level. Then we may add even more who knows. Excited about this class period. But I love the way we're going as far as talent on defense. Now I hope we aren't as vanilla on D as Wilcox was with CSS running the show(got a feeling we won't be).

Not sure Gray is underhyped or underrated. I'm not sure Blanc has any business being included in a "awesome defensive class" thread either. But the front seven coming in is nasty, yes.

Tuff to say barring injuries or any other setbacks but the potential is there. Since the days of Leonard Little, we may have our best or at least as good combo of d line and lb's...this spring will be interesting. Our secondary should be improved as well.

Like anything else, we won't know for 3-4 years for certain, but it certainly has the potential.

I never called Blanc a game changer. He's a better player at on defense to me. Don't really want to see him on offense. But McNeil at safety is big-time. And Gray will end up as a lockdown corner.

I did a dumb ass thing when I was in college, and if it wasn't for my coach standing up for me and giving me a 2nd chance, who knows what would have happened or where I would be now.

I leave it to the coaches to determine a kids character and if its worth the risk. Would have loved for Janzen to make it through this year, but can't fault Dooley for cutting him. Shows there is a leash and it will be tugged.

I did a dumdass thing when I was 30 and if my 1st and 2nd ex wives wouldn't stoood up for me, then well, oh never mind I ended up with a 3rd ex wife anyway. My point is give the kid a chance. We all dseserve another chance.

Yes, The TIDE is TURNING def one of the best. And with new DC we will have an outstanding season.

Yeah, POTENTIALLY that was a great class, but overall it was a BUST in reality and retrospect, and a big part of the problem we've had the last few years.

That's why I say it takes 3-4 years to know the true impact of a class. 2007 class sucked for us.
