Is this it for Peyton?

Peyton may not have the arm, but apparently the football gods still look on him with favor! Charles just gift wrapped the game to him

Awesome effort by the Broncos!

We Vol fans can relate to the way Kansas City fans feel right now!

Never, ever count Peyton out!

Having said that, Peyton does not look comfortable in Kubiak's offense. They don't have a great run blocking line nor do they have a Terrell Davis caliber back. Let Peyton do what he does best.

He has really struggled with velocity in these first 2 games... I hope this isn't the end of his career

This will be his last season. No doubt of that. But, Peyton is far from being done. If you watched the entire game, he still has some velocity. But, he is definitely not as sharp as he was a couple of years ago. But, he is still better than 75% of the QB's in the NFL.

great night for VFL's playing in that one. Great to see both the Colquitt bros. get their due, and to see Eric Berry and Peyton--two of the greatest in our recent history was very nice.
too bad Peyton doesn't have it anymore=BLUE FONT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This thread is so interesting. It really illustrates how reactionary fans are. Peyton gets off to a slow start against a good team after a short week of rest and people here are ready to write him off.

At the end of the game you look at the stats and Peyton has 3 TD passes and over 250 yards and a win on the road against a tough divisional rival.

Goes to show you have to be patient and not jump to conclusions. I think Peyton is going to have another stellar season. And even if he's a few snaps past his prime, he'll still be better than almost every other QB in the league.

I wasn't writing him off, I'm just wondering if this is it for him. If you believe he still throws the ball as well as he did 5 years ago you're kidding yourself. I wish he'd play forever

Considering that Peyton and Charles Woodson are the only remaining active players from their draft class, it is obvious that he won't be playing much longer. The truly remarkable accomplishment is that some of his most prolific seasons have occurred in the post-neck surgery era and with no feeling in the finger tips of his throwing hand. From 2012-2014, he has passed for 14,863 yards and 131 touchdowns. Peyton Manning Stats - Denver Broncos - ESPN
