HC Lane Kiffin - done deal
OC/OL- Bill Callahan
QB/RC Dave Reaves (currently at South Carolina) - done deal
WR - Yogi Roth (GA at USC)
RB - Stan Drayton
TE - Latrell Scott
DC - Monte Kiffin - done deal
DL - Ed Orgeron
LB - Ken Norton JR
DB's - Joe Whitt Jr (currently with the Packers but was the RC for Petrino at L'Ville)

I doubt it can happen but man think about how bad a$$ that would be.

I heard Long was also fired so I guess someone will have to replace him. Also, I thought there was going to be a special teams coach.

I guess if we don't get Callahan, Lane will be OC and Adkins will be retained for OL.

Brian Schneider could posibly be the Special Teams coach and Aaron Ausmus will most likely be the S&C coach.

I had been meaning to ask that question on Long.
Does anyone know if he got fired? I never saw his name in any of the reports.
He has a good rep and we have not had a major problem with injuries of late.

would you all rather have callahan as OC or have adkins retained and have Kiffin calling the plays? I personally am not a huge callahan fan.

After seeing this years OL I would go with Callahan. But only as OL with Kiffin calling the plays.

Callahan is a great OL coach, if he sticks to OL duties only and leaves the play calling up to Kiffin I would love to have him.

Callahan will not come unless he gets OC.....he will not leave the Jets to come to TN as OL coach

What's the big deal about Roth? All he has done is be QB coach for 1 yr and people around here think he's an important part of our future plans

Callahan is OC at Jets isnt he? Not sure he's going to want to come to UT in a lateral move. I'm not big on Callahan anyway, I sit next to a Nebraska fan, not high on him at all.

I'd have Schneider in as the ST coach but we would already be at the alotted 10 coaches. Either Monte would have to take LBs or Lane would have to take a position (TEs or RBs most likely).

Thats the staff I would like to see. With the emphasis that CLK is putting on recruiting I think it would be wise to keep Scott and Drayton especially Drayton.

I hate what drayton did with the recuits and i wish he wouldn't stay. Scott got Boyd, Askew, and a few other guys to commit. Also didn't Hubbs say that if Scott stays then Moses would be ours?

All of these look great but what about Bill Bates special teams coach and maybe db's?
