I will say this which hopefully will shed a little light on Hurd. He has a terrible attitude and really is all about one thing...himself. In addition to this he had some off field issues that screamed immaturity and recklessness. He didn't care about any of the repercussions...that says a lot IMO.

I respect your opinion. However is that really the mentality you want in our Vol players? It's football. It's the SEC. If a player is concerned about the number of hits he's taking then he should consider the Sun Belt. I understand some of these kids have a possible NFL future to consider. I get that. However he signed up to be a Vol. He signed up to be apart of a team. If he wanted to leave there is a time and place for that and it's not the 31st of October. It's more like February or even June after he saw no changes in spring practice.

The way I look at it is good luck Jalen. Thanks for what you did and I wish you no trouble. But you're not a VFL. You're more like a Jalen For Life.

I don't expect everyone to agree with me. But I would think we expect more commitment from our Vols.

How do you know? He could have been. How many guys did Hamilton interview? I mean Kiffin was a proven loser and Tennessee was one year removed from an SEC east title. We were still a very relevant program, yet you replace a HOF coach with a proven loser? Certainly doesnt show that Hamilton did his due dilligence to me. Still doesnt change the fact of how bad those decisions have been for us. Knee jerk hires and fires dont seem to be a great idea.

If you think firing Doolittle was knee jerk and unwarranted I have to question your thinking.

Butch Jones is a heck of a upgrade and some more offseason or heck changes now to his staff and he can be a great coach. Everything he does is great with exception to game days.
