As more and more comes out I have no choice but to give it some credence that Hurd was a problem on team 120. Just wonder why it took a bad loss for it all to come out.

Probably him not even breaking 20 yards rushing was the last straw. Hurt his pride too much and decided he was out.

Same reason a bad loss gets all the crazy posters to come out here. Adversity brings out emotion.

Everybody's happy when you're winning.
Close loss to A&M, no big deal.
Getting a beat-down by Bama was draining.
Players are much less likely to put up with crap after that.
SC game was the result.

daughter is a SR at UTK and has said for the last couple of years that "nobody likes Jalen". She lives near Shy and Barnett and says they are the nicest guys you would ever want to meet.

Was on a Team once where the better players we had were on the bench while less talented players/more "connected" players in some key positions played. Was a terrible season and we all knew we had the better talent on the sidelines. Last game of the season the Coach stated we had quit on him. He was right. Was his decisions.

Just about any UT student would tell you this. When he's playing well and the team is winning, they tolerate him. But few people have liked him around campus. VFL34 stated that Jalen "walks around campus and thinks he's better than Peyton Manning."

I never met one person who had anything had to say about Barnett. In fact, they went out of their way to praise him. Said he was nothing like his on field persona. Seems like a pretty stand up guy.

The ugly wins exactly defined who we are today as a staff and team. This was bound to happen. Folks kept waiting for the mistakes and coaching to improve. Neither have.

he is very friendly and respectful - don't see that too often. My daughter said Barnett was helping Shy get in his car this morning. Shy is on crutches and trying to get around.
