Yes they do offer them. I don't have the link readily available but yOU can schedule it some where on the utsports.Com website, I think on the neyland stadium page. And I think it is only $8.

Yep. Absolutely worth it. My wife and I took one a few months ago. They took us to the box seats and terrace, the Lauricella Center, the locker room, the recruit room, and the media area. It was a fantastic deal for only $8.

My wife, 4 kids, and I took a tour a couple of years ago. The tour guide was a current student and we were the only ones in the group.

If you enjoy yourselves and receive a good tour, the students appreciate a nice tip even though they do not expect it. The young lady touring us around was very nice and spent a lot of time with us, so we gave her a nice tip.

My wife and I are planning doing it also. Do you get to see the National Championship trophy, Fiesta Bowl trophy and Sugar Bowl trophies?

No. Those are kept in the Anderson Training Center. However, I used to be a tour guide and we were allowed to take guests out on the field. Don't know if they still do that though.

My daughter and I were at UT a couple of weeks ago and just roamed around the stadium. Nobody stopped us. It was alot of fun for my daughter.

I did this with my son on Thanksgiving day 2 years ago. We pulled up outside the stadium, walked on tot he field and commenced to take pictures in the end zone, 50 yard line power T, and on the side line. Not a single person questioned who we were or why we were there.

Somewhat unrelated, but which coach said he just had to sneak into Neyland on his way to Gatlinburg? Gus maybe?

It must be a timing thing because the place is always locked up like a prison anytime I've tried that.

When I was a student, years ago, the field access gate before gate 1 stayed open a lot. Went in one day and watched part of a practice while sitting in the north end zone. No one asked questions or told me to leave. Was never sure if I was allowed to do that but took advantage of a great opportunity!

I was a student '75-80. Back then there was artificial turf. North end zone just had bleachers and was open. There was a ramp from the hill to the upper deck on the east side that had a little concrete booth for the turnstiles and ticket takers. Very easy to crawl over the top there and get into the stadium.

My roommate and I used to take a frisbee in there sometimes - usually early on a Sunday morning during the summer or spring, and throw it around on the field.

Pretty awesome running full bore on artificial turf - no dogcrap or potholes to contend with, and having an empty stadium to yourself. Somewhere I have a picture of that, but it's in a box buried in the garage somewhere.

Don't think you could get away with that now. Since it's real turf, they are a little pickier about the traffic on it.

I just walked in.there one day and the lady at the front desk told me it was ok to look around. Crompton came in and I was actually in.my military uniform and he actually stopped and chatted with me for a while. I've walked on the field at LSU, FSU, and ND and no one was even around to tell me to leave. Will have to take the UT tour.

UT normally keeps the gates open and lets people walk around. I do homework on nice days during the semester there between class. This might have been because there was a specialist camp that morning, but earlier in the summer my friend and I walked into the locker room and took pictures. No one was there and everything was unlocked.

Wife was part of the B&B women's camp this year. Spouses were allowed in the Terrace for the silent auction and reception. Also got a tour of locker room. Field was only dirt so not allowed on it. Bonus we bid and won the Butch signed football.
