As a Florida fan, I would love for you guys to get stuck with Cam Newton. I had friends that work for the UAA and tutor the athletes, and they all said hands down he was the dumbest athlete at UF (with our recent arrest troubles that's saying something). Also after watching him play in limited action, he has extreme accuracy issues especially on the short pass, but good luck if you land him.

you have accuracy issues.

Well if your tutors at Florida make fun of the kids they tutor thats pretty sad and classless. Just like Florida. And I think your just a bit nervous that an innacurate, dumb QB, who is also your former heir to Tebow, is going to come to UT and beat your A$$

oh please, like ours wouldn't do the same thing. 90% of these kids wouldn't make it in to school any other way.

And Newton was the heir to Tebow...until he got his ass kicked by Brantley.

Plus, its obvious Newton isn't the sharpest tool in the shed. I mean the dude stole a laptop, spray painted his name on it, logged onto his UF account, and then threw it out the window when the cops came.

i know people are convinced that the recently committed WRs "know something that we dont." im not saying that that isnt the case, but i find it unlikely. Milton would have/was going to commit to us regardless and was merely waiting until he got to campus with his folks and coach to do so. Ambles is the only legit hope that there is a QB commit somewhere that we dont know about. i mean, it was definatley quick and unexpected and now he is probably our second most enthusiastic recruiter after Smith. however, there is fault in that argument too. from what i understand, but may not know for sure, is that he was very interested in UF but they didnt show quite the same amount of love towards him. other schools were backing off due to a percieved "attitude problem" but if you ask me, if his "attitude" is busting his butt to try and land us some recruits well then heck yes! anyways, at this point, we were the most interested in him and offer the best oppurtunity for early playing time. not to mention we have that aura about us that everyone is attracted to right now :)

point being, i find it unlikely that there is a transfer/decommitted QB out there waiting to surprise us. at least not yet anyways.

I don't know about you, but my source is impeccable. Has God ever lied to you?

If I were a young qb looking at teams, the way TN is putting all the pieces together on offense would make me drool at the opportunity. A few more lineman and we have one hell of a offense on paper, but winning is what attracts...so let's go out there and surprise some people this year and any glances wfrom recruits will become very hard stares.

i could possibly see if prater is a silent in going out on un n then a official visit to usc could more than likely talk up possibilities on the west.doing sum nside recruiting for ut on the front line with some great talent that ut has scouting out there on the west coast.just a thought thats all nothing more:stop:

I know the story on Newton. How about you not stick up for the ignorant Florida fan. :good!:
