Is there a Curse on the UT Football Program...

There was an uneaten donut that Fulmer left somewhere in the depths of Neyland years ago. Until he eats it, expect the worst. [/troll]

I told you guys, it's because Fulmer hid all those drug tests during the 98 season.

2 more words.

Fulmer/Chavis

one word

Morons.

Wanna know how bad that was? I was eight years old at the time and I remember asking my dad "Why in the world does UT not stop that stupid draw"?

Alright vols, no more getting down on yourselves.. you think other teams don't have important players that get hurt or kicked off the team?

Happens to teams every year! We were running through Bama's defense until that happened. Had over 200 yards of offense, on track for 400.

Florida lost 4 straight after that, and 7 out of the next 9.

Every team goes through it and besides you guys still have Bray a great O-Line and a pretty good defense. Florida had a first year coach, a fat man who drank half the teams gatorade disguised as an offensive coordinator and a pair of freshman trying to play quarterback that had never taken a meaningful snap. Talk about a grim outlook..

since Fulmer was fired?? THink about these events that have occurred since 2008...

1. Kiffin was hired and left after 1 year
2. We have a kicker that has 2 field goals blocked against Alabama that either one would have won the game (he actually kicked both into the rear end of our O-Line)
3. Bryce Brown....
4. Too many players on the field the end of the LSU game or we win that one
5. Janzen Jackson...
6. Missed extra point against UNC in the Music City Bowl (win without going to OT if Palardy makes the XP in regulation)
7. ENd of UNC game that we won but it was taken away from us
8. Justin Hunter injury first series of FL game
9. Herman Lathers injury before last season
10. Tyler Bray injury against UGA
11. Da"rick Rogers being kicked off what was going to be one of the most explosvie offenses in UT history

Not sure how much more I can take. THere is some really bad Karma on the Hill.

Scary

no, Coach Fulmer went out the same door he entered, the back door! All this curse talk is nonsense, imo. Go Big Orange!

We're so paying for that crazy stretch of games we somehow luckily won in 07 to win the east.

I sometimes think the same thing. Look at all the blown out knees: Anthony Miller, Jamal, Tony Robinson, Chuck Webb. Don't forget Cobb was suspended the week of the Bama game.

Nope. It all started in '97 when we b****ed at ESPN about Peyton not winning the heisman. They put a curse on us. We had an amazing year then everything went downhill. We lost to lswho in 2001 in the SECCG. It was in '97. I'm telling you. ESPN is magic.

Yes there is. The only way to rid our program of the curse is to do at least one of the following?

69 w a chick who is 300+ pounds.

Capture the tears of a grizzly bear

Have a picture taken with a unicorn.

I have done my part.

Who else is with me?

I knew it was ESPN's fault all along. Dammit.

If there is any curse it started in 1999 when we decided doubling Alex Brown was a bad idea.
