The problem is that Hart is kind of in a bad spot as it's tough to go looking for a coach, when most coaches are working. I think waiting till the end of the season puts us in a bad position as recruiting willl suffer big time over the next few weeks and kids see the writing on the wall. Other teams are filling up and with only a few spots left, I would guess alot of recruits will not want to wait and see who Tenenssee hires before they have to make a decision and or lose their spot. Could they flip before NSD once a new coach is announced? Sure. Most coaches would not speak to Hart about an opening until their season is over. They don't want to risk that sort of info getting out. Unless it's Fulmer, Petrino, Davis or someone not coaching, I think we will just have to sit in a holding pattern. Much like the UT plane, we are just waiting on flight plans.

I rather have Charlie Strong at Louisville. Dude, can recruit bigtime South Florida kids, great defensive coach and the kids love him.

Can Gruden recruit or we just hoping based on his name???

College coaches : Petersen (Bosie St), Patterson (TCU), Strong (Louisville)

Pros: Gruden (Don't see it happening), Jeff Fisher ( what's he doing these days?), Brian Billick (Ravens old coach), Are there any Harbaughs without a coaching job? (I'll take them sight unseen, even a sister)

No to Fulmer, Petrino, Davis-- WAY too much negative baggage that would divide fan base. Strong, if he goes somewhere, will go to ARK.

I'll bet you this fan base's level of morality will drop with each and every loss. They will be carrying bags for these coaches by Nov.
