I once heard a client say they had been arrested 3 times in a month how unlucky they were. Ummm..... unlucky or you didn't get away with stupid / negative moves 3 times in a month.

You can legitimately make a case that we are. We have had more bad luck and issues come up over the last decade, than probably the entire SEC put together. That's not a joke. Think about it:

Fulmer collapse
Kiffin bolting
Dooley debacle
Bruce Pearl
Florida streak
Donnie Tyndall
Rape lawsuit
You could go on and on...

I hate to say it, but thats the feeling I get sometimes too. This off season I was really hoping like every other Vol fans, that it went smooth cruising into what could possibly be the best season weve had since 07, and then all this crap shows up. It sometime seems that were our own worst enemy. Its really frustrating watching our program take a step forward, and then having to turn around and take a bigger step back.

Do people really believe crap like this?

I'm afraid it doesn't matter if the media believes it or not...it's big news that's "selling"...and this news will be used against us in any way possible...that's the world we live in now...:loco:

GO VOLS!

Many of these are self-inflicted. Ask yourself this question...how many times has something been done by the UT admin and you were like WTH? I know in the list by the OP many of those examples could have been avoided. You create your own luck and you pay for justice in this world, sad but true.

You aren't cursed. All of our schools have their problems. But if I were you I would question whether the athletic director and his folks are as in charge and as up to date on the big issues as they should be. There seems to be a consistent theme in a lot of this of lack of awareness and oversight from the very top.

This is when the curse started. PLUS - COLLEGE FOOTBALL - Simms Changes His Choice to Texas - NYTimes.com
January 26, 1999

Chris Simms, the son of the former Giants quarterback Phil Simms, has had a change of heart and will play football at Texas instead of national champion Tennessee, his coach said yesterday evening in Newark.

He has had some time over the last few weeks to reflect and think about it before he made it final, and he weighed it out in his mind and he just felt Texas was a better fit for him, said Mike Miello, Simms's coach at Ramapo High School in Franklin Lakes, N.J.

The surprise switch came after Simms said in mid-December that he would attend Tennessee.

You can speak curses and blessings in your lives. With that being said I see people posting we are cursed all the time. I also see people say ESPN hates us a lot.

While I think some of those posts are comical I still believe they effect the University.

I have never seen a self made rich person who complains all the time. At least not one who can keep their money.

Cursing and complaining are real!
