Is stubhub legit?

I know this may need to go to the ticket forum, but I was trying to get the most response traffic. Looks like I'm gonna have to shell some cash on stubhub for uga game. Anyone ever had any problems out of stubhub. Thanks and GBO!!!

Very legit IMO. I've bought away game tix off of it numerous times and utilize it for selling my season tix when I can't make it. The fees suck from a buying and selling standpoint but to my knowledge Subhub guarantees the transactions. No tix, they don't process your card.

Stbhub guarantees the tickets. If they dont work or you dont get them, they will either replace or refund 100%. Also they punish the seller, up to 20%, plus cost of replacement/refund if the seller doesnt deliver or they dont scan/work at the gate.

It's completely legit. I've used it for MLB a ton and also NFL and NBA and never had the slightest problem.

I bought my tickets to the Oklahoma game through vividseats.com. I thought they had better prices than stubhub.

My tickets are for sale on it now. Bought before with no issue. Waiting to see if they get me my money but feel good since they have teamed up with the UT ticket office to allow season ticket holders to list tickets on their site with direct links. You should be fine.

Stubhub is an excellent site. I have bought and sold on it.

Seat geek is another good option. It shows tickets for sale on multiple websites (except stubhub) so you can compare. You can even see where on the row the ticket is. Very helpful.

Hey,

Did one of you guys just buy my 2 for Georgia game? It kills me that my kid has a once in a lifetime opportunity that is at Disney World that weekend but family is more important to me than football. God and family then football. Job is close since needed to be able to enjoy said football. :)

Ticketcity.com and vividseats.com is where its at for tix. Subhub and Ticketmaster are going to be the more expensive sites.

Stubhub is an official partner with UT and automatically electronically transfers tickets. I had to sell some tickets for a weekend we were going to be out of the country with no problems (and a nice financial return). I believe the service charge was 10%.

Once had a lowlife not send the tix, but Stubhub got replacements and they were even better

I actually got upgraded twice for a preds game. Ended up in the second row against Pittsburg for $75 a ticket. I was more than pleased with them.

Stubhub has nothing to do with ticket prices. The sellers set the prices, and can adjust them up or down whenever they want. You pay what is shown and that is what it is. The seller pays some fees, but knows what those fees are when they list the tickets. I have a number of tickets for various events listed on StiubHub right now.

Yep, that has been my experience. Seller sets price. Stub takes 10% from seller. Buyer pays Stub, Stub pays Seller. Seller gets electronic ticket.

I've actually never found this to actually be the case. It might appear that's the case when looking at ticket prices but those other sites are very misleading since they usually charge a service fee of around $50 a ticket. When you look at Stubhub prices, what you see is actually what you pay.

So if you see a ticket for $100 on stubhub, you will pay $100. If you see a ticket for $75 on vividseats, you might think it's cheaper until you go through the process and they add over $50 in fees.

It's legit, but your best bet is waiting a week until the game and then looking. I got tix to the SEC tourney semifinals two years ago when we played Florida for $30 (ticket good for both games) because UK fans started panic selling after they were losing to Ole miss, but they ended up winning. I'd say check during the UT-Arkansas game and UGA-Bama game and you might find someone panic selling.

I looked at a bunch of tickets for the Oklahoma game. Once I clicked to buy they added a fee. The lowest I saw was about $8. A bunch were $38.20 so I sat in my recliner and watched the game.
