3rd week of the season and 2 weeks prior to SEC play.
Not that it matters, but we will not win a game against that competition. Changing coaches will have little impact on the quality of play on the field until we transition from the talent that CTR left us. I am sure we will play hard and be very well coached but pitching, hitting, fielding will still not be very good imo.
It's that Rome thing.
We might sneak up on Houston or Texas Tech but don't think we can play with the others.
On paper, next year's team looks worse than this year's team.

On paper, you have no clue.

March 2-4 are the dates for the Houston Classic.
Seems like a long shot, but CSF had a pretty good thing going with Hawaii, that would be great for the kids. It will be interesting to see the early season schedule, CSF's was brutal with USC, TCU, UNC, LSU, ASU, etc...
I would love to see the Vols play the toughest schedule in the country next year, get the dog crap beat out of them, and have that experience for 2013. Playing the best teams game in and game out seems to pay off the most for teams when it comes to baseball. Seeing teams like Texas, Florida, FSU, Vandy, USC, TCU, etc consistenly will do nothing but make this team better. 92+ is much easier to hit when you see it more than three times a month. I have complete faith Serrano and co. will have this team turned around by year 2. All Vol fans should be excited for the future of UT baseball.
