That tells you how bad Strong was at Texas. So again based purely off what they have done as Head Coach's they are in the same tier.

If conference titles are shared, one team wouldn’t represent them in the BCS Bowl.

Unless Currie can get Patterson. And I don't listen to those who say he isn't an option. Make the right offer and anyone who is still coaching and alive is an option.

I hope I'm wrong, but over the last few days I've started getting the feeling that either Jones will be coaching here next year or we'll hire an unknown high school coach out of the state of Massachusetts.

I guess it's "Battered Fan Syndrome."

I don't really get the Frost hype. This is 2nd year as a HC. Last year they were terrible and went 5-7. Sure, this year they're 6-0. But they haven't really played any teams that are that good.

The problem is I think its impossible to turn around Nebraska. They play in the Big 10 where Ohio State, Michigan, and Penn State are all recruiting at a top 10 level annually. The gap in talent is just too vast for Scott Frost to close with the talent Nebraska has attracted the last 20 or so years.

Unless you think he's gonna go the Ole Miss route and openly start cheating when it comes to recruiting, he has no chance to win big down there. The recruiting landscape is just too difficult.

Compare that to Tennessee which is just beginning to take off right now as a recruiting hotbed. Any decent coach will see the Tennessee job as a potential gold mine while the Nebraska job is a no win situation.

6-7. With the 7th loss being the bowl game. Previous season they were winless. #Perspective

However, I concur with you guys. After the inspired effort today, Butch deserves another couple of years.
