Well, the refs in the SEC are so bad - I question whether the games are worth playing. Every game there is countless things that are missed or just horrible calls. I am not saying 1 or 2 things a game - we're talking quite a few things and some of these games are so close that it has a real factor as to who wins.

NCAA Football 2017-18 | Week 7 | Auburn at LSU - YouTube

Goto 1:56:00 - the QB runs for a first down, clock stops for about 2-3 seconds, they are not even close to having the sticks moved. Commentators are even like WTF. Did this cost Auburn the game? Probably not, but you would have liked to see someone do something and to play the game out.

Game should have been over on the 3rd to last play. Guarantano took the snap with 9 seconds left, looked around, held onto the ball until he was hit by a DL, as they were falling he threw a ball high and slow out of the back of the endzone and there were still 4 seconds on the clock when the play ended.

This gave the Vols 2 more opportunities to show how inept Larry Scott is at calling plays.

The quality of SEC officiating is horrible. There is no consistency anywhere. The clock management is awful. They stop the clock for no reason and let it run when it should be stopped.

clearly, Vol fan or not, we got several favorable calls...that, along with all the other opportunities just shows where this coaching staff is...Butch just can't get it done...over, and over, and over...again...:)

GO VOLS!

As we well know from the Music City Screwing of 2010, the clock stops immediately when the ball hits the ground.

Jones should be hammered for not spiking the ball after first down. He was damn lucky he got a 3rd play when spiking the ball would have basically guaranteed him 3 plays even if the QB scrambled alittle on one play.

Did you watch the game? They were 'luck' away from getting beat by a very bad Tennessee program. Their offense is almost as bad as ours.

The talent level is night and day. The roster for South Carolina is 70 % freshmen and sophomores. We had 5 starters on offense out for the game. Tennessee has always had better talent.

Yeah, Tennessee didn't have anyone out.

USCe will be looking for a coach in 2 years. Their program is not in good shape either, they just haven't realized it yet.

I doubt that. SC has been mediocre with the exception of a 3/4 year run. I think they realize they are an 8 win or less team unless some things go there way. Muschamp may not be a good coach, but he's never lost to Butch!
