I was wondering why he didn't get in the game last night when we put in Hall and the boy wonder. It appeared to me that he never left the bench and joined the team during time outs. It appeared on one occasion that Pearl was motioning for him to come to the huddle and he never moved. Will his dad have him transfer again after this season?

CTJ said he had a fever and trainer said he was a no-go.

let him leave. i think we're deep enough and have better chemistry without him.

We will need him to step up next year. We are losing Fields and Williams and we do not have a big guy coming in from recruiting. So hopefully he will stay because Hall and Maymon will have to step up next year.

We will absolutely need him next year. Should Harris leave, we will have only Maymon and Hall at the post next year. Even if Harris stays, we still need Maymon to have any depth at all at that position.

you think this year is bad. next year we will be far worse. Maymon may leave, mccray may leave, and now Chris Jones will not get in. If Harris leaves we will look like LSU next year!!! The Sky is Falling!!!!

At least we can always count on the "Lady Vols" every year winning and having a shot at the NC year in and year out!!!! :)

I think he's already asked about transferring, but hasn't pulled the trigger yet. Kid must not want to work for anything.

That's a terrible assesment. the other guys are right. We will definitely need him next year. Everybody on the bench now, will be putting up 20+ minutes. He's absolutely vital to the programs success next year. That is exactly why we brought him. He needs to learn the system and go from there. he doesn't fit right now, but he will soon.

Regardless of if he stays or leaves, we all better get used to the idea of playing Renaldo significant minutes in the post next season. Unless we get another transfer, we will have next to no depth on the interior and very little experienced depth in the backcourt as well. Next season will be similar to this season IMO as far as not knowing what team will show up for each game, but with us still having the potential to beat anyone in the country.

He won't play the post voluntarily, nor will his father let him. He's a shooting guard in their minds. I guarantee you his dad has already been talking to the coaching staff and delivering ultimatums.

You do realize that all the fuss about his grades and when they'd be posted and when they'd be final and when he'd be eligible was all about his dad pestering everyone, don't you?

Well, I don't think Tobias or Scotty or going anywhere unless they turn a corner and get drafted. Right now I don't think either is a 1st round pick, although I haven't checked the landscape for draft stock lately.

Who needs Maymon when you have S. Pearl... Maymon doesn't belong on the court with Jr well at least in this coaches staffs' eyes.

Why do you assume Maymon might leave because he is not getting playing time? Is this "Kiffin Leaving" syndrome paranoia? We get hand wringing questions on this board about Dooley, Wilcox, Chuck Smith, Baggett, Maymon and many others leaving UT. Enough aw ready.
