We are not hiring friend as OC..We would then have to move Coach's around and fire someone to be able to hire a QB Coach. Friend isn't a playcaller and don't believe he's ever called plays. Bobo called the offensive plays at Colo St.

If you have heard of the person you would like to see as OC..they wont be the OC.

I could be wrong but I really don't think it will be. It would have already been announced and Friend has never called plays. Plus who does Pruitt fire to open up a spot for a QB Coach? But I'm wrong 99% of the time on guesses so who knows lol

At this point, I really wish they would just promote Osovet. Did alot of research on him and there is a good chance he would do very well.

I don't think it's a make or break hire in just his 2nd year. Pruitt is gonna have a fairly long leash early on. Fulmer's ego will work in JP's favor, Fulmer doesn't want his first major hire to be a failure and have to fire him in his first few yrs. I think he will make a really good OC hire and no way is it Friend or anyone else already on staff. Really hoping it's Sarkisian. He's a good QB Coach and playcaller, plus a really, really great recruiter.

He would be hired as OC before Friend or anyone else on staff, but still believe it's going to be an experienced Power 5 OC. There wouldn't have been a reason go this long without an OC and could have been done soon as Helton left. JMO

I understand you reasoning but let’s be real here. No way is this OC a “one and done”. He’s here next 2 yrs most likely. If after year 3, Pruitt hasnt solved the OC position, I think he’s toast.

I agree. It will NOT be a promotion of someone already on staff.
