Swain’s been steady and consistent since day one and gets constantly trashed on here by posters who don’t like the truth. He’s been proven right over and over again, especially with regards to Sgt Carter. You don’t have to believe him if you don’t want...I do.

it's hard to believe someone with no proof. I mean, how would you like it if someone was going around trashing your name, making up lies but have no proof? Sorta like how Schiano is going to make a couple milly off UT because of his past but with no proof produced by the FBI. Yet UT Fans know more than the FBI, sounds legit.

Swain has been bashed on here constantly the past few weeks for inconsistencies. Its cool cause he has a podcast, not an actual radio show where he might be held accountable.

As far as believing him on this, what is there to believe?

Let me ask you this...if you heard Butch Jones say something to the effect of, The UTAD is ran like trash...would he be trashing the program or telling the truth?

The answer to the second question would be "telling the truth".

But to be honest Jones doesn't need to say anything. Any agent or coach has easily figured that out by now. Also coaches out there know full well how the local media have pounced on every word and raked Jones over the coals for things that don't matter.

IMO, some like Swain, are trying to divert the blame to Jones, when quite frankly they are just as much to blame with the negative crap they have put out there for the past 5 years.

There should be a clause in his buyout about this, so he would truly risk that. I heard that there was for Dooley. I do not have a source nor have I reviewed the contract, but it stands to reason.

At the same time, I am going to consider the source. Swain tweets a wide variety of items, and many of them don't hold up. For instance, he predicted we would have a caochby 2 am LAST THURSDAY. I could add many to the list.

Newsflah...local sports media love to stir up ****. It's good for ratings. But is it good for our program?

Al Pacino has something to say to them...
