He has been trashing the program for many years with his shatty coaching and being too insecure to hire good competent coaches and letting them do their job.

No surprise here.

Weird i seem to remember threads trashing swain recently as he changed his mind every time we wind blew

Everything Jones has said has been true. He's trashed the administration that he had not the program. They gave him no support and handcuffed who he could hire as an OC

Of course. We are expected to completely dismiss a guy who, may make mistakes and owns up to them, busts his ass to get a story right, but must believe a d-list radio host.

If Butch is trashing the program, I'm sure other schools will take notice of his demeanor during their vetting processes. He is lucky to get the 8 mil.........."Don't go away mad, just go away"

Lyle didn't walk in to the best situation BUT he did have great fan support and great facilities.
Due to us owing Fulmer & Dooley, bUTch was limited financially as to who he could hire on his staff.
He did work hard on the recruiting trail.
He was definitely out of his league.... in the S.E.C.

In the end, it was his fault that we lost to Arkansas, Vandy 3 times, Oklahoma after having a big lead, lost to Florida 3 times when we were the superior team, lost to South Carolina and lost to Kentucky this season.
that is 10 games that we should have won. bUTch's fault.
should have at least made it to the SECCG last season. bUTch's fault!!!!!!!!!

You'd think he'd zip it, based upon him getting rightfully blasted on social media on Sunday and called out by Aikman on not playing Kamara as prime RB for two years.

Swain is greasing the skids to be able to make an excuse for Fulmers impending terrible hire.

The fact Currie was able to even meet w Brohm, Gundy, and Leach but Fulmer is meeting w Steele, Miles, and Morris tells you this is BS

Yeah, im sure everyone will discount every national (and sometimes local) story reporting that Tennessee is a disaster and think that Jones is just sour.

he already had Jim Chaney and Sam Pittman on staff that he could have retained. but they weren't good enough for his staff. Georgia sends their best wishes from the playoffs.

That still makes no sense. You give him a boatload of money for Shoop, but you won't give him OC money? Then, it costs you 8 million in dead money to get rid of Butch as a result of not giving him a minor fraction of that to save his job.
