1. LSU is unranked.
2. Early morning start - players not woke up good.
3. Kelly rotates qbs like Spurrier used to?
4. Vols looking ahead to Alabama?
5. LSU defense confuses high powered Vol offense as they did with Miss. State?
6. Eating spicy gumbo on Friday night causes digestive issues?

Yes this could be a trap game but it will not because the Vols will be ready to score and then score some more.

Kelly is due for his first SEC loss.

4. It’s possible

Glad to see LSU ranked. They deserve it with the schedule they have played. A key question is if Tennessee can improve and build on the Florida game - get the defense tightened up and tighten up ball security and the punting game. The only "trap" probably is Vol fans thinking the team is better than they actually are matched up with other SEC squads - especially on the road.

I think this is a 10 win level team and the SEC had better watch out for Tennessee.

You're trolling, right? With how miserable this program has been for nearly 2 decades, they shouldn't be looking at anything other than what's directly in front of them...the next opponent. We're having a great start to the season, but we're no where good enough to take any opponent lightly. They look past LSU and they're fools. We'll need to be focused and play our best to win in tiger stadium no matter what time it starts. If I'm being honest, I'll take a split with UK/LSU right now and be happy.

This staff seems to do a solid job keeping preparation and focus where it needs to be.

I can see the early start feeling a little weird but I’m sure this staff has a plan for that in their practice schedule.

We’ve had to fight and scratch our way to 2 of our 4 wins. I doubt we overlook LSU.

We’ve won a tough road game in Pitt. That helps build confidence and the team should be more comfortable.

I think this team knows they can win and believes they will win but knows they must earn it.

LSU has been hard to judge based on who they’ve played. But, being honest, so have we. Pitt has fallen apart and Florida is a mess at times too.

I think this is a close matchup.

If we can get a fast start and win the first quarter I can see us having a good 2 score win.

If we start slow then we’re in for a dog fight. They have some size and speed. If they hang around it might be hard.

But if we get those guys winded by going fast and making plays we will all get that top 10 matchup vs bama we’ve all been wanting.

JH always has the team ready. I do not think he will allow the players to overlook this game. I love that the man played the game at the highest level and knows exactly the emotions many players go through during the season!

Lol trap game ? No just hell no. We better come to play for 60..... Now, it could get ugly sure. I think it will be another hard fought game. We can only hope that we put it all together this week. I am actually traveling down to this game for the first time ever and I am not sure what to expect but I will be there. We have too many questions to take anyone lightly. Focus and prepare
