I just found it odd that B.J. was the only QB out of the other 2 that didn't roll out. As for Boyd i didn't neccessarily want him anyways, i just don't understand why Lane offered Barry Brunetti when he told Boyd to look elsewhere.

He camped as a QB, so I strongly doubt that, since his performance at camp would be what got him an offer, if he actually got one.

Also, what we run over the next year or two may not fully be the offense he would LIKE to run when he has all the personnel he needs. He'll probably be adjusting to our strengths and away from our weaknesses, instead of blindly pushing a particular offense.

I really never believed Boyd was turned away because of the type of QB he was.

He needed knee surgery and would have had to sit out a year because of it. He had it done as soon as he got to Clemson.

He was calling plays like he was still at Richmond. It looks to me as if Kiffin's scheme relies on the run game and that's what UT football used to be

The Kiffin/Sarkesian/Chow offense is based off the I/Z-O/Z (inside and outside) zone running game. The variation off the zone run are bootlegs and playaction-resetting the pocket actions off the run game.

The reason why we will see a ton of boots this season is because JC struggles reading D's from the pocket and the boots and waggles simplify reads for the QB and he only has to read 1/2 the field.

im thinking maybe more of a prostyle balanced offence that we build around our qb until we get a qb that can fit kiffins prostyle system kind of like the way florida did with chris leak
