I think that our big concern for the next few years sits in Tusk’ and not Gainesville.

Though I like the hire and believe in 3-5 years we will be able to stop the run... Why you folks insist Boise had a good defense is beyond me? The Oregon game would have ended up being 24-10 Oregon if they used their backs like they did the rest of the year. Boise didn't stop the run Oregon just didn't use it. I will say the TCU game was fun and was very smartly played on D but a big 10 or even SEC DC or HC would have been able to adjust to that easily. They had very poor outings defensively against many of their WAC opponents. In fact Nevada played better D against the D in many WAC ges than Boise did. if youbteally really study the game film and see what went on you won't be that impressed.y biggest gripe is that Boise defense was a defense by committee about 40% was due to wilcox imput the rest was due to coac K and the other guys. I really really hope he proves me wrong. I'm very good at hedging my bets and you can take this one to the bank we will not have the best D in SEC by a long shot next year.

Yeah...when a team of 2 and 3* kids can hold Adrian Peterson to 77 yards on 20 carries....I think that D sux....NOT!

Your jokin right? That was 3 years ago!!! AP had not played in 2 months and Boise gave up more points to Texas than almost any other team had all year.

i didnt see anyone one here saying that we would have the best defense in the sec !! it will be brand new to everyone , new coaches,players,and a new system. so give it time !!!!! jmo

Even if there wasn't a coaching change there would have been a tremendous challenge with our schedule next year. It may take two or three years to get back to the glory days.

Why dont you take a look at the facts instead of posting your senseless opinions. Boise finished 14th in total defense last year, compared to us who finished 22nd, and Wilcox was able to do it with lesser talent too. Im sure every other vol fan on here is tired of looking at all of the negative crap that you have been posting about Wilcox. If you don't like the hire, then why dont you jump on the USC bandwagon with Kiffin, Mongo and that old ass has been Monte.
