I get your point, I was just being a SA. Everyone wants to know why JG didn't become the QB they thought he would. Wasn't he a dual-threat QB coming out of high school? It is my opinion that the previous coaching staff really fudged with his head and style, and he is looking for that old JG. Give him one thing, that man can take a hit and keep coming at you, I love that about him, he doesn't give up or give in. I still believe he is UT's best option at winning ball games.............jmo.

I think there are a lot of things to like or love about JG. Always have. I think he throws a very nice, catchable ball. He has plenty of arm. He's tough as nails. He's mentally and emotionally tough... he's taken more crap than a guy his age should ever take.... and didn't quit or transfer. By all indications, he's very coachable and a great team mate.

Before last season, I had two additional knocks against him. I didn't think he managed the run game very well. He didn't use the medium middle very well which let LB's crash down. I would now consider both of those things strengths.

But the things he isn't, hasn't, and maybe can't do well... will inhibit the O. I don't think his issues with the deep throws are arm or accuracy. I think he is still delivering the ball a half count late because he doesn't anticipate the throw window correctly.
