Is Jabari Greer not proud of UT??

I from Jackson and still live here. I love it here, but i would have rather seen him support my vols and not my hometown. We are not too small about 100,000 peeps.

I was under the impression that they said the university if they graduated and would say their high school if they left early. I know...

Its not the AND1 league where the players give shout outs to ray ray and june bug.He is a professional and he needs to act like it.

It doesn't make someone less of a professional to mention their hometown rather than their college. You might want to brush up on the term.

Perhaps we are recruiting a player from Jackson and Jabari threw that out as a subliminal recruiting tool.

If you watch the NFL alot. Their are quite a few of them who mention their high school instead of their College..No big deal.

Can't remember who says it, but someone says "The real UT. Tennessee"

I said that in a training class I took in Dallas back in April...We were going around the room introducing ourselves...Room full of Texans...It came my turn and I said my name and that I was from Union City, Tennessee "Home of the REAL UT."...That got a lot of looks...

He coulda said, "Jabari Greer, Jackson South Side."....Jackson...Tennessee kills two birds with one stone...

Nothing wrong with what he said. In fact, I'm happy to hear our state given a shoutout along with the Uni. It's nice to be reminded that Tennessee Football isn't just a team composed of non-native Tennesseans recruited to play for us and that we have local talent ourselves.

He's a hero in my hometown. He does a lot of work there. It was so cool seeing him mention Jackson. Him and Ed too tall Jones should do some charity work together there.

Maybe old Ed isnt in any condition , heck maybe Ed is needing charity

I was there the night he graduated from high school(my sister-in-law graduated the same night)when they called his name and he walked on stage he pulled a UT hat from under his robe and put it on.They held his diploma for 3 days because of that so yeah I would say he is proud, just because he didnt say it dosent mean anything. I can tell you from talking to him that night he was very proud!!!!

He is proud of UT. Just wants to prop up his home town. Heard an interview with Donte Stallworth saying that he has done both over his career and means no disrespect to UT.

I feel bad now. Often before a business meeting, we have to introduce ourselves with a brief background. I have yet to say my name followed by University of TN.

I heard Greer talked to Gabe Wright.... he can pound sand for all I care.....
