that i was happy the girl on american idol that did the gator chomp got cut, and was even happier that it was a complete embarrassment as well?

i get roped in to watching every week as the wife is addicted to the show. but as i watched last night and they were showing this cute little blond do here thing, and they broke away to one of those pseudo interview clips and she did the "go gators" follwed by the gator chomp, i immediately said, "i hope she get's cut".

a minute later, there she was on stage, blowing it completely. the whole crew of judges basically telling her she sucked. she then desparately tried to get a second chance and after being told NO again, she started singing again, and they just started waving their hands and telling her no, no, no....it's over. then she cried.

i just smiled.

i think i may have a problem.:eek:lol:

You are not alone Jake. I watched her do that and took a sick pleasure in watching her struggle and go way too far to try to win over Paula. Paula never cuts anyone. She cut the Gator though.

Ah-hem... That's what I'd say if I watched the show. :)

I didn't see it but from the description I'd say you were spot on! I need to look for that on u-tube.

There was some girl from Knoxville that got a ticket to Hollywood. I didn't watch last night, I dont know if they have started the Hollywood cuts yet or not. My daughter watches the show.

yeah, she got whacked too. and for good reason. she sucked.

My wife and daughter watch that show, I walked in and saw that and I thought the same thing. Plus she was a lil obnoxious (I know who would ever think that of a Gator fan).

Morristown kid screwed up on his second song. I kind of liked what he did but I think the crew was trying to teach him a lesson about dismissing the band.

He's been living in his car for months.

oh, she cursed herself when she did that. at first, i was like, hm, she's kind of cute. then she did it. game over.:eek:lol:
