Is it wrong for us to wait until the last moment to poach another team's QB?

Just wondering. I know we were left out to dry in an unfortunate situation for ourselves. But if we wait until the last moment to poach another team's QB, than that team won't have any time left in the transfer window to convince another's team's QB to enter the transfer portal.

This whole situation is about to turn into a gane of hot potato with a ticking time bomb. One team is going to be left with having their QB taken at the last moment with no viable option to replace them.

If we don't throw money at a guy who's otherwise happy where he is, if we are only offering someone a chance to move up in their life's pursuit, I won't feel guilty---but I will still feel sorry for the coach and program who was the next domino to fall in a fiasco that mature heads (both years ago, and a week ago) could have avoided.

Well, Nico was definitely not poached since it was probably his father reaching out to other programs.

I would say he was scrambled but we have all seen Nico in the pocket.

I think the best description of this situation is that Nico was deviled.
All, cuteness aside, yeah.

Well now that we got Aguilar, it is just a QB swap. No other team's are affected. Looks like Tennessee is the ultimate loser all around in this. At least college football thought it was cool for us to stand up to Nico for a week. In the end, sot sure any side is going to ultimately come out on top on the football field. I could see both sides ending up worse off.

It ain’t poaching or tampering though when you take the QB from the team that just took your QB; it is karma or just desserts šŸ˜‚
LOL well kind of a lot has happened since I posted that. Still, if you don't think we were working the backchannels on some other QB's before taking Aguilar, you're crazy! He definitely wasn't our 1st choice.
