Is it worth it?

YES
30 years and counting. There have been worse times than these.

Went to the GA game with my dad whose been a fan for 50 years and a season ticket holder for about 20. I mentioned all the *****ing and whining on VN after the game and he said those pussies should find a new team. Followed with I've watched a lot of bad teams play and it only gets better if you stick around and support them.

Hell yes it is.

It will be even better when UT is back on track and some of these idiots have to crawl back in their holes.

Even better if something crazy goes down Saturday. ;)

I will never ever not be a Tennessee fan. I don't care if we go 0-12 or 14-0. I live for Saturdays in the Fall and I bleed orange. These are hard times as a fan but I will be there Saturday screaming and standing the whole game. Go Vols and bless the ones of us who are true fans.

volly, gonna relate this to something you know well. :)

Vol football is like sex. No matter how bad it is it's still better than almost anything else. You know the next time holds the hope of something amazing. Don't get any for a couple of days and you'll realize how much you miss it.

VFL!

A true fan never gives up. Those players and coaches aren't losing on purpose and deserve our support. Everyone likes to say that we have a great fan base. We all need to act like it. Fair weather fans can take a hike and not come back when UT is on top again.

AB-SO-LUTE-LY!

On a side note, I have developed a strange respect for Kentucky and Vanderbilt fans. They must be among the most devoted or deranged fans in the world to put up with all of that losing. We've not even begun to taste the kind of losing that they endure on a regular basis, and it already really, really blows.

Yes, I'll keep on donating. I'll keep my season tickets. I am with this program good or bad. They don't look like they are quitting to me, so I'll continue to back them.

To you, as a fan, is it worth it?

I started following this team in 1965... I watched the glory days of the swamp rat, bobby scott, hacksaw reynolds, watched as Tony Robinson threw em silly then witnessed a weak qb named Darell Dickey win the great sugar bowl of 1985/86... I also saw 11 year of defeat at the hand of Bear Bryant, witnessed Bill Battle tear down what Doug Dickey had rebuit... waited threw those years of Johnny Majors rebuilding, each year saying....wait til next year.... BUT I HAVE ALWAYS SAID IT WAS WORTH IT AND GLAD TO TAKE THE RIDE GO VOLS VFL
