someone who bought ncaa football 12 for ps3 said you only get a free 30 day trial to play online and then you have to register with EA and pay...I said I have never heard of paying to play any game on the ps3...could a few of you please answer this for me...thanks

No. If you by it new it comes with an online pass & you just enter the code & play as usual. If you get it used it could be possible that you would have to buy the online pass for $9.99 because the original code has probably been redeemed.
