Is it time to get concerned yet?

CBJ has had little time to build relationships for th 2013 class and he follows 3 dismal years of Dooley football. This recruiting class will be OK and next year will be great.

And Ole Miss is just winning all the time?

OM showed improvement, went a bowl, and has a good coach. They also have some favorable circumstances. The reason they are in on 5 stars is because Treadwell has a friend in the team, Nkemdiche has a brother on the team, and Conner is from South Panola, an OM pipeline. Pretty easy to understand.

Give the new coaching staff a chance. They are doing a helluva job considering they have been on the job for only a month against enormous odds. Would you run to sign with us given our recent history? We will get the players to help us rise and it will get better with each year. I am excited and know it will happen..give it some time. It is not the current staffs' fault for the past.. Vols have a great future..future so bright..gotta wear shades ..Just saying

We have had 3 massive recruiting weekends with only two commitments coming from those 3 weekends. One commitment is a 2 star prospect that we beat fresno state on. We also got one 4 star WR whose dad played at UT. I hope I am pleasantly surprised on signing day.

So far we are 2 for 15. I hope that percentage increases in the next few days!!!!

go Vols

When you are this late in the process with guys this highly sought after its likely going to go till signing day or even after in some cases.

I like Jay Graham and the idea of him being a great recruiter and coach.
But he needs to reel in a couple of rbs. Anyone can recruit when things are going well. We are counting on him to be a difference maker and he needs to make a difference. He hasn't made a difference in end results in getting rbs signed as of yet.
I hope he comes through.

Unfortunately you are dead on.

Dude, I just basically made the exact same statement this morning saying his time might be running out and we have RB's committed to Vandy and Ole Miss over us and I got completely blasted! They even said that since he helped get Marcus L at USCe, that actually counted for something, like somehow we should count that for UT! This board can be straight up crazy! See the Green thread still up... funny.

This post was not about being concerned about this coaching staff. I believe that this coaching staff will get it done.

Is it time to be concerned about this recruiting class. I hope we have a great signing day. But if we do not, we will need to win some games next year and then have a great recruiting class next year.

Look at what happened to Freeze and Ole Miss. His 1st signing class was 40th in the nation, His 1st year they win some games and now they look to have a top 10 class. I hope this is also in our future.

If this class completely craps the bed, then yes. We won't know that until NSD. Till then, no. Most rational people didn't delude themselves into thinking that Green was a Vol so it's just another day on VN.

I know I am not the first to say it, but I give an A+ rating to them for even getting us in the game on some of these young men.

Jeeeesus, UT football has reached a sad and pathetic bottom. An A+? Based on what, a few good football players taking a weekend at the programs expense? What a joke.

In sports managements classes around the country they will use UT as a perfect example of how to kill a cash cow and turn a once great and proud sports program into a bottom feeding money hemorrhaging dumpster fire.
