We have had 3 massive recruiting weekends with only two commitments coming from those 3 weekends. One commitment is a 2 star prospect that we beat fresno state on. We also got one 4 star WR whose dad played at UT. I hope I am pleasantly surprised on signing day.

So far we are 2 for 15. I hope that percentage increases in the next few days!!!!

Tennessee gets a WR from NC, DL from SC and fat kid dodgeball out.

We used to close strong when we were winning 11 games a year. However there is no excuse other than Dooley gave up and wasn't recruiting. Besides being a human dick.

Watch out for next year. Too little too late. Gotta hand it to staff tho, they put in work.

The time to get concerned was when we hired Kiffin. After four losing seasons in five years, if anyone is just "getting concerned" he just awoke from a decade-long coma.

That said, if we don't close a few of North/Bellamy/Ford/Lawson/Levenberry/Green (yes, Green... he hasn't signed the LOI yet) then let's look at it as a chance for CBJ to win with less. Then the floodgates can open in 2014.

Regardless of what happens, all we can do this year is HOPE for positive results, and that all the hard work (in a short time) pays off for our new coaching staff. I know I am not the first to say it, but I give an A+ rating to them for even getting us in the game on some of these young men. Maybe we make a big push here at the end and close out good. If not, I think the future is much brighter days for all Vols!

Most of the kids we are in on are not making their decision till NSD or close to it. I wouldn't jump off the bridge till that day.

I like Jay Graham and the idea of him being a great recruiter and coach.
But he needs to reel in a couple of rbs. Anyone can recruit when things are going well. We are counting on him to be a difference maker and he needs to make a difference. He hasn't made a difference in end results in getting rbs signed as of yet.
I hope he comes through.

Not one bit. Most of them havent committed yet anywhere and waiting till signing day. Just because you have heard of any committs doesnt mean there arent any. Were in good shape with Lawson, Miller, Levenberry, Ford, North, Bellamy,Bell and a few others. Not saying we land all them but will get our share and still others out there. Anyone who is worried right now hasnt followed recruiting very long.

We'll have to wait and see how things play out. I'm not concerned. I've got faith in Coach Jones' vision and ability to sell the program.

Hey let's make another "The Sky Is Falling!" thread, because that's helpful and informative right?

Some people just like to complain, period. Other people are just plain ignorant. Finally, some people are trolls. Best thing to do is ignore all of the above classes as they just want a rise. Let their stupidity speak for itself! GBO!
