Is it time for revolution?

Yeah. He seems to think all land owners own 100 acres or more. If you live in a cheap inner city home with very little land....you very likely are on welfare and selling your home probably wouldn't help you long term. Nor would it be immediate.

How would this welfare individual be able to qualify for a loan to own said land?

You teach?

What's 20%of 1000 acres?
What's 20% of 10,000 acres?

20% of end production of said land.

I assumed that that you "talked" farming, you would understand. My bad.

Hey, you and that ASSume word plus 88 won't go well for you.

I'm late to this thread. I've resisted posting because most of you know my views on our government.
Is it time for a revolution? It's not time to pick up arms, yet. It's time for an evolution of thought, of how we view the role of government.

I think that most conservatives and libertarians have been having these thoughts for at least the last 50+ years.

War on Poverty
Great Society
ObolaCare

...just to name a few...

Yup... it is the liberal brain that has brought to us the massive economy grabs of the federal .gov and expansion of government. But after all, they know better how to spend YOUR money, and they feel the pain of those they are "helping".

So, republicans haven't expanded the size of government? Both are equally to blame here.

In order to restore order, I would first suggest repealing the 17th amendment. As well as establishing term limits.

I don't believe banks can discriminate against income for people on disability or social security. But they very well could have inherited it. I imagine most inner city areas have a lot of people living in homes they inherited from family.

If your home has a value of 40k or so, when you sell it you will only make 30k. That's about one years living expenses, and you have added a bill for yourself because you now have to pay rent to someone else

Just a thought, if the right to vote was something that had to be earned, such as owning land, would elligible voters then cherish their vote a little more and be more inclined to be active as a voter?

I'd make it you have to pass a fitness test. Lord knows that would disqualify most of Mississippi.

Libertarians yes; "conservatives" just replace the ones they are against with ones they like.

But they will then have $30K to invest. (That is where you buy a stock or mutual fund that either pays a dividend or increases in value and makes money) Therefore, they become a member of the investment class rather than the working class. But liberals want to further penalize them by raising the capital gains rate to regular income. (Which would also have penalized them on the profit they made on the sales of their house). But by God they are gonna make Warren Buffett pay his fair share!!!

Oh, and by selling their house they no longer have to pay property taxes, so they save money there.

Lots of truth in what you say, but my point is that the largest entitlement programs that have grabbed the biggest parts of the economy have all come at the hands of the liberals. And NONE of them work.

Didn't republicans also vote for those programs? Good God man, wake up! It's not a left/right issue. It's an American issue.

Overall it IS an American issue, but it was leftists.. and only leftists that brought us the abortion known as the ACA, and we WILL pay the price for that.

Not a "pot head". Unless you've done your own independent research, chances are you're ignorant on effects, cures, and side effects of marijuana.

LeRoy buying a pack of blunt straps at quickie mart paying for his fountain drink with EBT needs a cure alright.

Pretty much what I've been saying, we need a cleanse.
