Slane (spelled in small caps SLANE; look on the bottom right of your hymnal page) is my favorite hymn tune and on the list for my funeral one day. It’s (ever so loosely) associated with St. Patrick. The usual hymn setting is “Be Thou My Vision.” Random factoid for today.
